Service Designer Location: Bristol (Hybrid) Salary: Up to £64,000

About the Role A top-tier digital consultancy is seeking an experienced Service Designer to join their team in Bristol. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape high-impact public sector services that align with Government Digital Service (GDS) standards .

You’ll work as part of agile, multi-disciplinary teams on large-scale digital transformation projects—designing end-to-end journeys and services that truly meet user needs, while balancing business goals and technical constraints.

Key Responsibilities Lead service design activities within cross-functional teams on government and public sector projects Create service blueprints, journey maps, and ecosystem diagrams to visualise and improve services Apply GDS principles to ensure accessibility, usability, and compliance throughout the service lifecycle Facilitate stakeholder workshops and co-design sessions to drive alignment and shared understanding Collaborate with researchers, content designers, developers, and delivery managers to build user-centred solutions Present findings and design recommendations clearly and persuasively to a variety of audiences
