Service & Breakdown Engineer (Renewable Energy) Location: Mid Devon with UK field-based work Contract: Permanent | Full-time Sector: Renewable & Low-Carbon Energy Systems Salary up to £38,000 base salary with earning potential up to £45,000 with overtime Are you a hands-on engineer who enjoys fault-finding, problem-solving, and keeping critical systems running? We're looking for a Service & Breakdown Engineer to support the maintenance and reliability of renewable energy and heating systems across the UK. This is a key role for someone who takes pride in delivering excellent service and helping customers get the most out of their low-carbon technology.
The Role You'll be responsible for the servicing, fault diagnosis, and repair of renewable energy systems, responding to both planned maintenance and reactive breakdowns in a professional and timely manner. Systems may include: Biomass boilers and associated plant District heating and heat networks Low-carbon and renewable heating technologies Mechanical and control system components
