Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Therapeutic Care Practitioner to join a small, nurturing therapeutic childrens home supporting children aged 410 years.

This role is suited to someone who can act as a therapeutic parental figure, offering emotional safety, consistency, and positive role modelling within a trauma-informed, relationship-based setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality, therapeutic care to children on a day-to-day basis

  • Act as a senior role model, supporting and guiding care staff

  • Support the Registered Manager and Deputy in the running of the home

  • Promote a safe, stable, and nurturing home environment

  • Contribute to care planning, safeguarding, and Ofsted compliance

About You:
  • Hold a Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People (or equivalent)

  • Have at least 2 years experience in childrens residential care

  • Demonstrate a calm, nurturing, and emotionally available approach

  • Experience supporting children with emotional and behavioural needs

  • A registered driver
