Employee of Month - £50 voucher The Role As Senior Sous Chef , youll work closely with the Head Chef to oversee daily kitchen operations, maintain the highest standards of food quality and presentation, and lead a motivated team of chefs and kitchen staff. You will play a key role in menu development, staff training, and ensuring consistent excellence in every dish. Key Responsibilities: Support the Head Chef in managing all kitchen operations. Lead and mentor junior chefs and kitchen staff, fostering a positive, professional team culture. Maintain excellent food quality, presentation, and consistency. Oversee stock control, ordering, and cost management. Ensure compliance with food hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards. Contribute to menu planning, specials, and seasonal updates. Deputise for the Head Chef during absence. Requirements: Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a busy, high-standard kitchen. Strong leadership and communication skills. Excellent knowledge of modern cooking techniques and food safety standards. Ability to work calmly under pressure and manage multiple tasks. Passion for creativity, sustainability, and exceptional food. Relevant culinary qualification or equivalent experience.
