Senior Sales Manager – Insurance (Consulting - Cloud/Infrastructure)

London (Hybrid)

Up to £120,000 base + Bonus


A global technology consultancy at the forefront of cloud and digital transformation is looking for a senior, new business-focused sales executive to drive growth across the UK Insurance market.


This is a true hunter role; owning the full sales lifecycle, from origination through to close, targeting large, complex cloud infrastructure services deals. You’ll operate with real autonomy, engage at C-suite level, and play a visible role in scaling a high-growth insurance practice.


What We’re Looking For


  • Proven new business sales track record within the UK Insurance market
  • Proven track record of consulting sales between £5-10+ million P/Y
  • Experience closing large, complex enterprise deals (not just account farming)
  • Strong background selling cloud infrastructure or enterprise technology services
  • Comfortable engaging and influencing senior decision-makers
  • Deep understanding of insurance clients, buying cycles & market dynamics
  • Strong commercial acumen (deal structuring, pricing, negotiation)
  • Ability to operate in a matrix environment while owning outcomes
  • Disciplined, driven, and focused on closing revenue


What You’ll Be Doing


  • Own and deliver against a significant annual sales target (>5m P/Y)
  • Build and maintain a high-quality, revenue-aligned pipeline
  • Originate new opportunities across UK insurance clients and net-new logos
  • Lead complex enterprise sales cycles end-to-end
  • Engage senior stakeholders including CIOs, CTOs & C-suite
  • Shape deals around client drivers, risk, and commercial outcomes
  • Define deal strategy, structure, and pricing approach
  • Work closely with solution, delivery, legal & commercial teams
  • Navigate internal governance to drive deals forward at pace
  • Contribute to account growth strategy and long-term client value
