Senior Quantity Surveyor - Water AMP 8

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the commercial team of a Tier 1 contractor, supporting the delivery of major construction and infrastructure projects. The role involves full commercial responsibility for a large project or a portfolio of smaller schemes, working collaboratively with project teams, clients and supply chain partners to achieve strong financial and contractual results.

You will be responsible for the effective commercial management of projects from initial procurement through to final account, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements while maximising value, managing risk and maintaining positive working relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Take ownership of the commercial administration, reporting and performance of assigned projects Promote and maintain a safe and compliant working environment Prepare, negotiate and manage subcontract documentation, including terms, conditions, pricing and programmes Manage subcontract works packages, including interim valuations, payments and change control Administer contracts in line with their form, issuing all required commercial notices to clients and subcontractors Manage change effectively, including the preparation and submission of compensation event quotations and variations Prepare, submit and agree monthly ...
