Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor

Location: Glasgow (Minimum 1 day per week in office – flexible/hybrid working)

Overview

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join an established framework, supporting a portfolio of customer connection projects. This role offers the opportunity to take full commercial ownership across multiple schemes, delivering both pre- and post-contract services within a dynamic infrastructure environment.

Key Responsibilities

Take commercial responsibility for a portfolio of customer connection projects. Provide comprehensive pre- and post-contract quantity surveying services. Manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring strong commercial performance throughout the project lifecycle. Lead cost management, forecasting, reporting, and change control processes. Administer contracts and manage risk in line with project and framework requirements. Engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery. Work independently while maintaining alignment with wider commercial and project teams.

Requirements

Proven experience operating at Senior Quantity Surveyor level. Strong commercial management and contract administration expertise. Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple workstreams effectively. Proactive, solutions-focused mindset with strong stakeholder engagement skills. Experience within electrical Transmission & Distribution.

Working Arrangement

The successful candidate will be required to attend the Glasgow office a minimum of one day per week, with flexibility for remote working for the remainder of the week.
