Job Description

Senior Quantity Surveyor \n\nOpportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to work for a leading Main Contractor based in the heart of London. This is an exciting new role due to additional workload with new projects secured and started on site.\n\nAbout the role of Senior Quantity Surveyor \n\nAs Senior Quantity Surveyor be to work leading the commercial team on being site based on either Commercial, Mixed use, hotels or education schemes under JCT form of contract typically 2 stages ranging in value from £40 Million - £100 Million. Initially working as part of the PCSA or 2 stage, with a plan to work site based delivering the scheme within the next 3 months reporting to a Commercial Manager.

With the majority of their projects across Zones 1 and 2 London. You will be responsible for but not limited to; managing packages from procurement through to final accounting Working with the team to ensure subcontractors are managed on site, CVRs, review drawings, mentor junior members of the team and work collaboratively with the internal team and clients.\n\nResponsibilities for Senior Quantity Surveyor\n\nWorking from PCSA/2 Stage tender process, to delivering the site and working through to completion and final accounts\nProcurement across all sub-contracting accounts\nPricing, and managing change and variations.\nManaging Customer and Consultant Relationships\nLeading site meetings and negotiations with client\nManaging Junior members of the team, mentoring and training\nDevelop and deliver 2 stage bids and PCSA agreements. \n\nRequirements for Senior Quantity Surveyor \n\n10 Years experience within Construction Quantity Surveying position with a Main Contractor\nGood Communication skills\nTeam leadership, planning and time management skills.\nAbility to build strong relationships.\nPrevious experience commercial leading construction projects from start to finish.\nMentoring and training Assistant Quantity Surveyor and Quantity Surveyors \n\nWhat we offer for Senior Quantity Surveyor \n\nThis opportunity is to work for a financially stable business with a steady turnover, as a group pushing a Billion.
