Are you a Rail Senior Quantity Surveyor with experience working for a contractor on rail or civils major projects? \n \nDo you want the opportunity to lead and manage a commercial team? \n \nLocation: Birmingham + 1 day working from home per week \nSalary: £55,000 to £70,000 per annum DOE + £7500 car allowance.

This is not just another project; it's a fast-moving development where your contribution is vital to its success and things change by the day. \n \nAs the new Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be integral to the commercial team. This is a hybrid role, requiring an initial presence of four days a week in the project office to get fully embedded with the team and processes, with the potential for more flexibility down the line.

Your day-to-day will involve managing the full spectrum of commercial duties, including processing applications for payment, handling CVRs, building up change requests, and negotiating with subcontractors. The key is taking full ownership of your remit, ensuring deadlines are met. \n \nDue to exceptional growth, my client is looking to add a Senior Quantity Surveyor to their team.

Your duties as a Senior Quantity Surveyor will include: \n·Leading, managing and training the commercial team. \n·Leading on all contractual matters from inception to close out. \n·Assisting in the preparation of contract documents.

\n·Managing the risk and opportunities process. \n·Setting and Managing budgets. \n·Providing procurement support.
