We're currently recruiting for a Senior Project Manager to join a leading Global Multi-disciplinary Construction Consultancy, based in Manchester.\n\nAbout the Role of the Senior Project Manager:\n\nAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Senior Project Manager with a strong construction background and a proven track record of delivering complex projects across a range of sectors. These may include, but are not limited to, Healthcare, Education, Commercial Offices, and Data Centres.\n\nKey Responsibilities of the Senior Project Manager:\n\nManage all stages of the construction lifecycle, from site acquisition through to project handover, ensuring delivery against time, cost, and quality benchmarks.\nCollaborate closely with investors and key stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective communication throughout the project.\nEstablish and maintain project budgets, monitor costs, and implement cost-effective strategies while maintaining high standards.\nProactively identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to avoid delays or budget impacts.\nEnsure full compliance with legal, building, and environmental regulations across all projects.\nLead multidisciplinary teams, provide mentorship to junior staff, and promote a positive, collaborative team environment.\nDeliver comprehensive project reporting and maintain accurate, detailed documentation.\nSupport business development by identifying and pursuing new opportunities with existing and prospective clients.Requirements of the Senior Project Manager:\n\nIn-depth knowledge of JCT and NEC3 contract frameworks.\nDegree-qualified in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.\nChartered status with MRICS, MAPM, ChPP, or MCIOB.\nFull UK driving licence.\nStrong background managing large-scale construction schemes.\nExceptional problem-solving and analytical capabilities, with great attention to detail.\nStrong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.What's on Offer\n\nCompetitive salary of £55,000 - £65,000 depending on experience\nHybrid and flexible working options\n25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays\n5% employer pension contribution\n£4,000 car allowance\nLife assurance at 4x annual salary\nPrivate medical and health insuranceWhat happens next:\n\nOn receipt of your application our dedicated Surveying and Project Management recruiter, Iain Shanley,will contact you to discuss this opportunity in full detail.
