Senior Project Manager - Nuclear Island Location: London or Bristol (minimum 3 days per week) with travel to Europe. Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience. Benefits:

Closing Date: Monday 22nd December 2025. Opportunity Sizewell C is a nuclear new build project in Suffolk with planning approval and government financing. It will supply low‑carbon electricity to 6 million homes for 60 years and support Britain’s Net Zero by 2050. Join our expanding team to work on one of the UK’s largest megaprojects and help advance the country’s climate policy. Role As Senior Project Manager you will lead a high‑performing, multi‑disciplinary team and oversee the end‑to‑end delivery of critical systems, structures and components across several buildings and contracts within the Nuclear Island programme. This role demands ownership of budgets, schedules, risk management and quality assurance while coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to manage complex interfaces.

About You You are an experienced Senior Project Manager with a proven track record of delivering large‑scale, complex projects in a technically demanding, regulated environment, ideally within the nuclear or similar industry. Qualifications & Skills
Background in mechanical, electrical, process, systems or civil engineering within large‑scale industrial plant environments. Proven success in coordinating multi‑disciplinary design and procurement activities, driving teams to meet key deadlines. Strong grasp of major project complexities, especially managing interfaces between different scope areas. Data mindset and digital competency – comfortable using data and digital tools to drive decisions and improve processes. Proficiency in collaboration platforms such as MS Teams. Experience in project management or project engineering across the full lifecycle from concept to handover. Confident communicator, able to engage effectively with client‑facing and contractor‑facing scenarios. Exceptional communication, organisational and leadership abilities.
Desirable
Existing relationship with RD or EDF supply chain would be an advantage.

Sizewell C is funded under the Regulated Asset Base model and partners with EDF for support services while transitioning out of the EDF group. To be appointed, you will need to meet the criteria for Security Vetting, requiring residency in the UK for at least three of the past five years.
