Senior Mechanical Engineer – Optomechanical Systems Location: Cambridge Salary: £50,000 – £70,000

Key Responsibilities: + Design precision mechanical parts and assemblies + Build and operate lab-based mechanical systems + Rapidly prototype new concepts + Create detailed CAD models and drawings + Liaise with suppliers for prototyping and manufacturing + Customer facing – including travel

Key Requirements: + Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field + Experience with optical precision systems + Demonstrable experience in taking products from concept through to production + Strong CAD skills – Solidworks + Knowledge of various manufacturing processes, including injection mou...
