JOB- Senior Mechanical Design Engineer LOCATION- Wakefield TERM- Permanent SALARY- £40,000 to £60,000 per annum (plus benefits)
Premier Engineering is working with a leading engineering company based in Wakefield who are looking to hire a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their growing design team. The company specialises in delivering complex mechanical systems and equipment across a range of sectors.
The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will ideally have the following attributes: Degree or HND/HNC in Mechanical Engineering or a related field Several years of experience in a mechanical design engineering role Strong 3D CAD skills (e.g. SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar ) Experience designing complex assemblies and machinery Good understanding of manufacturing processes , materials, and tolerances Knowledge of FEA or other analysis tools Strong problem-solving and project management skills Excellent communication and teamwork skills
