Senior Manufacturing Engineer

Proactive Personnel Ltd are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Manufacturing engineer for our client based in the Wolverhampton area.

This is a precision engineering business who work in the aerospace and energy sectors (amongst others) so experience in a similar industry is required.

A HNC in Mechanical engineer or equivalent is desirable for this role.

The main purpose of this role is to provide end-to-end support from initial design and modelling through planning and programming product for the shop floor. Ensuring components are delivered on time and on budget by creating efficient solutions.

Responsibilities include:

* CNC offline programming for milling and turning

* Supporting production with daily problem solving

* Continuous improvement

* Ensuring quality and associated records are maintained.

* Planning and designing manufacturing process from start to finish.

* Accurate stage drawings, SOP’s and similar.

* Support quotation processes.

* Support with NPI projects

* Assist and direct projects including CAD/CAM programs to ensure first time quality and production readiness.

This is a permanent role and you can expect to earn between £50,000 - £60,000. To earn the higher end of this salary bracket, you must be able to demonstrate competency in all aspects of the job role.

39 hours per week. 08:00 – 17:00, early Friday finish.
