In this role, you will collaborate with sales and investment colleagues to shape promotional activity and campaigns that support the UK Wholesale business channel. About Your Role In this role you will work closely with marketing colleagues and senior stakeholders from sales and investment to shape promotional activity and campaigns which support the UK Wholesale business channel. By understanding customer journeys through owned, earned and paid channels, you will be responsible for building impactful and effective marketing programmes that strike the right balance between maximizing immediate commercial opportunities and franchise building over the longer term. You will manage account plans for several strategic distribution partners across the UK, ensuring marketing requirements are fulfilled and marketing contacts are aligned with sales goals. You will brief and manage ongoing relationships with agencies and vendors, oversee production and maintenance of marketing output, ensuring all programmes and materials adhere to compliance and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities
Develop and own campaign plans to ensure timely delivery of engaging marketing messages within agreed budget. Act as key marketing contact with strategic partner firms and manage day‑to‑day interaction as required. Support development of high‑impact presentation content for sales teams across national events programmes. Manage and execute integrated programmes encompassing media, communications, and event activities to support immediate commercial opportunities and long‑term franchise development. Utilize the marketing mix for maximum impact, including advertising, email (hand‑on build through Marketo), web, LinkedIn, content placement and product collateral. Contribute to the evolution of contact strategies reflective of key client segments within marketing programmes, ensuring alignment with sales activity. Use suitable evaluation and measurement metrics to optimize programmes. Manage programme briefing processes and oversee external agency resources.
About You We seek a candidate who can demonstrate strong technical expertise in marketing investment products, encompassing audience segmentation, media planning, creative development, copywriting, agency management, and performance measurement. You have a passion for communication and investment markets, can distil diverse information into key messages, and are resilient, managing multiple priorities effectively. You are confident working with colleagues at all levels, influential, and can develop productive working relationships. Process‑oriented with an analytical mindset, you support evidence‑based marketing and advance best practices. Strategic thinking combined with practical, hands‑on application, with high standards for detail and strong work ethic. Experience And Qualifications Required
Experienced financial services marketer with extensive knowledge of products and distributors, across fixed income, equity, and multi‑asset solutions. Proven experience in developing briefs and propositions, particularly for digital channels used in B‑to‑B communications. Ability to collaborate with investment and sales teams, understand client needs and deliver high‑quality marketing programmes in a timely manner. Analytical and process‑oriented mindset to support evidence‑based marketing. Familiarity with Adobe Analytics and Marketo platforms beneficial. IMC or similar professional qualification preferred. Energy, enthusiasm, and resilience under pressure. Understanding of the UK regulatory framework and its impact on Fidelity, clients, and marketing functions.
