Power the UK's Net Zero Future
Imagine leading the logistics behind one of the UK's biggest infrastructure projects of a generation - building Sizewell C, a new nuclear power station on the Suffolk coast that will power six million homes with clean, low-carbon energy.
This is more than a job - it's a chance to leave a legacy.
What's the role?
We're looking for a Senior Logistics Manager to take the driver's seat on logistics strategy for the Sizewell C Civils project.
Starting in our London project office (with site visits to Suffolk), you'll set the strategy, shape the supply chain, and lead the way on innovative logistics solutions. Once the Civils works commence, you'll be at the heart of it all in Suffolk - making sure the right people, materials, and systems are in place to deliver one of the most complex and exciting projects in the UK today.
What you'll be doing
- Designing and delivering game-changing logistics strategies for a project of national importance.
- Forecasting and orchestrating the flow of people, materials, and transport - from road, rail and shipping, to utilities and site facilities.
- Creating and managing smart delivery systems that keep a mega-project running like clockwork.
- Driving sustainability and innovation into every part of logistics operations.
- Partnering with engineers, subcontractors and stakeholders to keep 6 million homes' future energy supply on track.
You're not just organised - you're a strategic thinker and natural leader who thrives in complex, high-stakes environments.
Must-haves:
• CSCS Black Manager's card
• IOSH Managing Safely or SMSTS
• Experience in logistics for major projects (construction, infrastructure, or datacentres)
• Strong IT and data analysis skills (MS, delivery management systems, access control, telematics)
• Sharp communication skills to influence and align diverse stakeholders
Nice-to-haves:
Member of the Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport (CILT)
NVQL6 qualification
Knowledge of Construction Consolidation Centres (CCC), Datascope or Voyage Control systems
