Senior Legal Counsel Location: East London

Our client is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to provide strategic and operational legal support across the UK & Ireland, with a focus on commercial contracts, governance, and risk management.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver practical legal advice to senior management and business stakeholders. Manage legal risk and ensure timely legal involvement in key matters. Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, including NDAs, R&D, licensing, supplier, and tender contracts. Oversee relationships with external legal counsel. Develop and deliver training on legal and compliance risks. Support corporate governance for UK & Ireland entities. Collaborate on regional legal projects with wider EMEA teams. Deputise for the Director of Governance, Risk, Compliance & Legal as needed.

Requirements:

Law degree or equivalent (including conversion route). 2+ years post-qualification experience. Background in healthcare preferred. Strong knowledge of commercial contract and corporate law.
