Senior HR Business Partner (Media / Media Production) The Walt Disney Company (EMEA) invites applications for a Senior HR Business Partner who will have significant experience within the Media / Media Production industry. The successful candidate will support the studio group, platform distribution, and corporate communications teams at our UK & Ireland HR leadership team. As Senior HR Business Partner, you will provide HR leadership to the client groups, lead a high‑performance team, and manage a Senior HR Advisor. You will partner with business leaders to deliver the people strategy, own HR processes, and influence business decisions. What You Will Do
Contribute to and deliver the HR people strategy in partnership with line‑of‑business leaders. Lead, motivate, and drive a high‑performance HR team to deliver against the HR plan. Develop and deliver the people agenda for your client group, aligning with the TWDC HR and business strategy. Act as a key member of the client group’s leadership team, proactively driving the HR agenda and supporting business initiatives. Understand how the business operates, including key drivers and industry trends. Participate in strategy planning, the Annual Operating Planning (AOP) process, and local business planning. Build strong working relationships with HR stakeholders, enabling a solution‑oriented approach to HR initiatives. Apply commercial thinking and HR insight to provide pragmatic solutions that meet business needs. Engage with HR Centres of Excellence to obtain specialist advice and value‑added solutions. Pro‑actively manage annual HR processes, including Reward & Recognition, Talent Planning, Performance Management, and Organisational Change.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Senior HR Business Partner with significant experience leading initiatives within Media Production or the broader Media industry. Proven track record of managing senior client relationships and supporting VP level and above clients. Experience supporting client groups with marketing, sales, distribution, and communications backgrounds. Experience leading a high‑performing HR team. Demonstrated multi‑discipline HR experience and partnership model operation. Strong influence, persuasion, and collaborative working style. Significant change‑management/OD experience, including restructures, redundancies, TUPE, and redeployment within EMEA. Experience working within a global multi‑national, fast‑paced commercial organisation. CIPD (or equivalent qualification) or equivalent experience.
