About the company:
Our client is a leading SME developer specializing in a diverse portfolio of residential properties across multiple locations in the South East.
They offer a wide range of housing options, including houses, apartments and pride themsleves on building to a high specification.
About the opportunity:
As an Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for our residential developments, from land appraisal through to construction and handover. You’ll play a vital role in shaping the financial success of each project.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed cost estimates for new and existing residential developments
*
Conduct feasibility assessments and cost planning for land acquisitions
*
Collaborate with design, planning, and construction teams to develop accurate budgets
*
Identify cost risks and provide value engineering solutions
*
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of materials, labor, and market trends
*
Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain accurate pricing
About the benefits and rewards:
The salary will be dependent on the level of exposure to the residential industry. The company offers excellent opportunities and offers a basic salary in the region of up to £90k DOE. In addition to the basic salary there will be further company benefits.
About the requirements:

Expereince in a residential estimating role
*
Strong understanding of the full development lifecycle
*
Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Excel
*
Excellent numerical and analytical skills
*
Strong communication and negotiation abilities
*
Relevant qualifications in construction, quantity surveying, or similar field
