Job Title: Senior Estimator Location: London or Birmingham (3 days per week on site) Engagement Type: PAYE Contract Duration: 6 months

The Role We are looking for a Senior Estimator with proven experience in heavy civils, rail, and major projects to support a major UK rail programme. You will lead estimating activities, provide assurance on contractor submissions, and develop both order-of-magnitude and first principle estimates.

Key Responsibilities Lead and review project estimates across multiple packages. Produce accurate cost estimates using RMM1, CESMM4 and estimating software. Provide assurance and benchmarking of contractor estimates. Mentor junior estimators and review outputs. Prepare basis-of-estimate reports for director review. Engage effectively with engineers, clients, and stakeholders.

About You Strong background in heavy civils and rail estimating. Skilled in methods of measurement and take-offs. Proficient with estimating tools and software. Confident in stakeholder engagement and reporting.
