Job Title: Senior Engagement Manager

Client Location: London/Staines - remote/hybrid

Starting: ASAP

Salary/Pay Rate: £549 daily PAYE

Duration: 12 months



Job Description:

The Senior Engagement Manager oversees the on-time, on-budget delivery of the defined solution scope to meet the customer’s desired outcomes. This requires the Engagement Manager to complete the project following our client's leading practice methodology, working collaboratively with the customer project team and any involved partners. They ensure governance is maintained to secure team member support for the project, including risk and issue mitigation. The EM is also responsible for assembling and leading client's resources on the project, ensuring they understand the planned tasks, tracking actual progress, and managing deviations through appropriate measures.


  • Lead the delivery team throughout the engagement, often in collaboration with a services partner.
  • Manage engagement governance, timeline, scope, risk, change management, resourcing, reporting, and financials.
  • Work with the Sales Account Team, partners, and customers to understand the customer and the engagement, including challenges, partners, issues, and value being delivered.
  • Understand the goals and align deliverables accordingly.
  • Apply expertise from the NowCreate methodology and prescriptive guidance to promote the delivery of the engagement, including long-term customer success.
  • Act as the single point of contact to encourage collaboration and customer agreement on proposed solutions.
  • Mentor Customer Outcomes or Partner team members to achieve the engagement’s deliverables and promote the customer’s desired results.
  • Lead the delivery team throughout large, complex engagements, often in collaboration with a services partner.
  • Identify gaps between actuals and the plan of record, proposing solutions and driving resolutions.



Skills:

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in project management within a professional services organisation.
  • Experience managing the implementation of workflow or business transformation solutions.
  • Proven success in driving complex issues through analysis and resolution.
  • Creativity and confidence in running projects independently.
  • Experience working collaboratively.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%.
  • Industry domain expertise in workflow.
  • Experience in leveraging or critically considering how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving would be a plus. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analysing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI’s potential impact on the function or industry.
