Oxfordshire – Senior Electrical AIT Engineer – £55k-£75k – Space

Platform Recruitment has partnered with an innovator within the space industry in a bid to find their next Lead AIT Engineer! You will act as the technical interface between the company and their vendors and customers in relations to AIT process. You will be responsible for detailed technical interactions with vendors and customers to ensure that products are ready for a smooth, successful AIT.


Main Duties:

+ Verifying that units are designed and implemented to meet testing requirements

+ Planning and implementing the assembly and test of subsystems and satellites payloads

+ Leading the development of hardware and software tools

+ Ensuring vendors are capable to ensure a quality product is delivered to the customer needs

+ Conception and definition of test procedures, test plans and test strategies


Skills and Experience Required:

+ 3+ years in the space industry in a similar position

+ Experience with a variety of communications electronics and payloads

+ Experience in AIT campaigns

+ Strong electrical/electronics knowledge


Salary/Location:

+ The salary is circa £55k-£75k depending on experience

+ This role is based in Stevenage, however may allow for some hybrid working
