Job Description
Are you an experienced electrical engineer ready to take on a leadership role and drive major projects? This innovative engineering consultancy is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on large-scale, interesting projects and develop your career in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage engineering projects and lead a small team to ensure timely and within budget-delivery
Working across sectors including data centres, government, residential, commercial, pharmaceutical, workplace and educational
Produce high-quality engineering designs, calculations, and specifications using advanced technical software
Supervise and coordinate the production of technical drawings and reports
Mentor and develop less experienced staff, fostering their professional growth
Attend and actively participate in client and project meetings
Conduct site visits to monitor progress and address any issues
Ensure compliance with project management, QA, Environmental, and Health and Safety procedures.
Qualifications and Experience :
Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant engineering discipline
Proven technical competence and experience in managing engineering projects
Strong ability to plan and programme work for yourself and others
Commitment to supporting the professional development of team members
Relevant experience working in a consultancy environment
Knowledge of Amtech and Dialux is desirable
Excellent communication skills and using initiative to overcome challenges are essential.
Desired Skills and Experience
