Senior Data Scientist

Salary: Up to £100k

Location: London (hybrid)

I’m currently partnering with a high-growth, tech-led business that’s building out its AI capability as it transitions from GenAI experimentation into fully scaled, production-grade systems.

You’ll be joining a cross-functional AI/ML team, working closely with engineers, product and platform teams to design and deploy real-world GenAI applications across the business.

What you’ll be doing:

• Designing and building agentic workflows and LLM-powered applications
• Creating tools that allow models to interact with internal systems and data
• Developing robust evaluation frameworks for non-deterministic AI systems
• Taking ideas from prototype → production in a scalable, repeatable way
• Applying both GenAI and traditional ML to solve complex business problems

What they’re looking for:

• Strong experience building GenAI applications (LLMs, RAG, agents)
• Excellent Python + solid SQL/data skills
• Experience evaluating ML/AI systems in production environments
• A strong grounding in experimentation, metrics, and model performance
• Someone who enjoys solving ambiguous problems and working closely with stakeholders
