Job Description

A leading national law firm is looking to recruit a Senior Associate or Principal Associate to join its highly regarded Real Estate team in Birmingham.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the largest and most respected real estate practices in the UK, working on high-quality transactions for a diverse client base across both the private and public sectors.


The Role

You will handle a broad range of non-contentious commercial property matters, managing your own caseload while also working closely with partners on larger and more complex transactions.

The role will involve:

  • Advising on acquisitions, disposals and general commercial property matters
  • Supporting corporate transactions and finance matters with the wider corporate team
  • Supervising and mentoring junior lawyers
  • Developing strong client relationships and taking an active role in client delivery


The team works with a broad mix of clients including:

  • Universities and higher education institutions
  • Healthcare providers and NHS bodies
  • Government and public sector organisations
  • Corporate occupiers

You will also work closely with colleagues across construction, planning, tax, disputes and environmental teams on multi-disciplinary projects.


The Team

The national real estate practice consists of 100+ lawyers and is recognised as one of the strongest teams in the UK. The Birmingham team works closely with partners and specialists across the firm on major real estate projects and strategic advisory work.

About You

  • Qualified Solicitor with significant experience in commercial real estate
  • Strong technical knowledge of non-contentious property work
  • Experience managing matters and working directly with clients
  • Interest in mentoring junior lawyers and developing client relationships
