Your responsibilities
Proposition Design & Development
Serve as the primary functional authority on additiv’s UK retirement proposition, acting as the definitive subject matter expert across investments, pensions, and protection
Lead the end-to-end design of additiv’s retirement solution, ensuring it encompasses every customer life stage from pre-accumulation (Junior ISA) through to post-death estate administration, across all product verticals
Define and articulate detailed business and functional requirements for all underlying customer and adviser journeys, translating complex regulatory and commercial needs into clear platform specifications
Collaborate closely with Product, Technology, and Platform teams to shape the technical architecture and capability roadmap required to deliver a market-leading, next-generation solution
Sponsor and support digital transformation programmes, including platform upgrades and the integration of AI-assisted operational capabilities, to ensure additiv’s proposition remains at the forefront of innovation
Partner with the sales organisation throughout the full sales lifecycle — from exploratory meetings and executive workshops through to solution audits, gap analysis, and commercial negotiations — ensuring consistent, compelling, and strategically aligned messaging
Act as a trusted advisor and senior lead on high-value, complex client engagements, positioning additiv’s integrated retirement offering as a differentiated and commercially superior solution
Combine deep market insight and technical expertise with executive-level influencing skills to drive strategic sales outcomes, supporting revenue growth targets across the UK market
Shape and contribute to regional and global go-to-market campaigns, ensuring that additiv’s retirement proposition is accurately and persuasively represented across all client-facing materials
Develop and deliver high-quality business presentations, demonstrations, and proposal documentation for client meetings, RFP responses, and industry events
Strategy & Stakeholder Leadership
Drive the development of UK market business solution requirements, whilst maintaining a global perspective to ensure the retirement proposition can be adapted and scaled across international markets
Engage and influence C-suite stakeholders, both internally and within client organisations, presenting complex solution architectures and strategic recommendations with authority and clarity
Provide thought leadership on UK retirement market trends, regulatory developments, and emerging customer needs, ensuring additiv remains proactively positioned ahead of market change
Your qualifications, skills and experience
A minimum of 15 years’ experience in business analysis, consulting, or solutions architecture within UK wealth management, with a primary specialism in pensions and retirement
Demonstrable, in-depth knowledge of the full UK retirement landscape, encompassing defined contribution (DC) and defined benefit (DB) pensions, annuities, drawdown, ISAs, and protection products
Proven experience in leading or significantly contributing to large-scale digital transformation programmes within financial services, including platform migrations, journey re-engineering, and proposition builds
Comprehensive understanding of UK pension regulation and compliance obligations, including FCA requirements, Consumer Duty, and relevant HMRC legislation
Strong cross-vertical expertise spanning investments, pensions, and insurance, with the ability to synthesise these into a unified, commercially viable proposition
A track record of successfully engaging and influencing C-level executives and senior stakeholders, both internally and externally
Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the gravitas and credibility to represent additiv at the highest levels of client and industry engagement
Experience operating in a pre-sales or commercial consulting capacity, with a strong understanding of the full sales lifecycle within a B2B technology or platform environment
