About this roleWe are seeking an exceptional Senior Solution Consultant – Retirement Solutions to lead the design and delivery of additiv’s next‑generation retirement proposition in the UK. This is a strategically critical, dual‑purpose role that sits at the intersection of product development and commercial sales, requiring an individual who can both architect a world‑class solution and articulate its value to clients and prospects at the highest levels.The successful candidate will be responsible for building out a holistic retirement solution that integrates investments, pensions, and insurance into a single, cohesive customer proposition. This solution will address every stage of the customer lifecycle — from financial planning through accumulation, consolidation, drawdown, and into post‑death estate administration — reflecting the full spectrum of a customer’s financial journey as illustrated in additiv’s lifecycle framework.Your responsibilitiesProposition Design & DevelopmentServe as the primary functional authority on additiv’s UK retirement proposition, acting as the definitive subject matter expert across investments, pensions, and protectionLead the end‑to‑end design of additiv’s retirement solution, ensuring it encompasses every customer life stage from pre‑accumulation (Junior ISA) through to post‑death estate administration, across all product verticalsDefine and articulate detailed business and functional requirements for all underlying customer and adviser journeys, translating complex regulatory and commercial needs into clear platform specificationsCollaborate closely with Product, Technology, and Platform teams to shape the technical architecture and capability roadmap required to deliver a market‑leading, next‑generation solutionSponsor and support digital transformation programmes, including platform upgrades and the integration of AI‑assisted operational capabilities, to ensure additiv’s proposition remains at the forefront of innovationCommercial & Sales EnablementPartner with the sales organisation throughout the full sales lifecycle — from exploratory meetings and executive workshops through to solution audits, gap analysis, and commercial negotiations — ensuring consistent, compelling, and strategically aligned messagingAct as a trusted advisor and senior lead on high‑value, complex client engagements, positioning additiv’s integrated retirement offering as a differentiated and commercially superior solutionCombine deep market insight and technical expertise with executive‑level influencing skills to drive strategic sales outcomes, supporting revenue growth targets across the UK marketShape and contribute to regional and global go‑to‑market campaigns, ensuring that additiv’s retirement proposition is accurately and persuasively represented across all client‑facing materialsDevelop and deliver high‑quality business presentations, demonstrations, and proposal documentation for client meetings, RFP responses, and industry eventsStrategy & Stakeholder LeadershipDrive the development of UK market business solution requirements, whilst maintaining a global perspective to ensure the retirement proposition can be adapted and scaled across international marketsEngage and influence C‑suite stakeholders, both internally and within client organisations, presenting complex solution architectures and strategic recommendations with authority and clarityProvide thought leadership on UK retirement market trends, regulatory developments, and emerging customer needs, ensuring additiv remains proactively positioned ahead of market changeYour qualifications, skills and experienceA minimum of 15 years’ experience in business analysis, consulting, or solutions architecture within UK wealth management, with a primary specialism in pensions and retirementDemonstrable, in‑depth knowledge of the full UK retirement landscape, encompassing defined contribution (DC) and defined benefit (DB) pensions, annuities, drawdown, ISAs, and protection productsProven experience in leading or significantly contributing to large‑scale digital transformation programmes within financial services, including platform migrations, journey re‑engineering, and proposition buildsComprehensive understanding of UK pension regulation and compliance obligations, including FCA requirements, Consumer Duty, and relevant HMRC legislationStrong cross‑vertical expertise spanning investments, pensions, and insurance, with the ability to synthesise these into a unified, commercially viable propositionA track record of successfully engaging and influencing C‑level executives and senior stakeholders, both internally and externallyExceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the gravitas and credibility to represent additiv at the highest levels of client and industry engagementExperience operating in a pre‑sales or commercial consulting capacity, with a strong understanding of the full sales lifecycle within a B2B
