About The Role As a Senior Business Analyst within the Transformation Business Analysis Team, you will work on a number of strategic programmes in the Transformation portfolio. Your responsibility is to lead the business analysis within these key programmes and deliver them to a high‑quality standard through to implementation. The position is a 12‑month fixed‑term contract (FTC). As a Senior Business Analyst you will Lead the business analysis for key projects through to successful implementation Work closely with stakeholders across the business to understand their challenges and ensure the right solutions are delivered to resolve these Liaise with business and technology teams to scope projects and build estimates Scope, estimate and organise BA activities within these projects Deliver high‑quality business analysis, improve business efficiencies and deliver improved service to the business Provide business analysis expertise across the business aligned with methodology and tools driven centrally by the BA team, including requirements gathering and creation of documentation such as business requirements, BPMN, user stories, wireframes and UAT Remain current on Business Analysis practices, techniques and tools Build and contribute to the process catalogue for your portfolio, mapping, analysing and supporting the definition of new processes as needed Lead and mentor a team of analysts for projects within your portfolio Collaborate with business teams to ensure change is captured and fed into the change process Develop strong working relationships with business teams and internal and external stakeholders About You Extensive experience as a Business Analyst with at least five years delivering complex change initiatives end‑to‑end in retail organisations, with a focus on product systems Experience implementing Retail/FMCG systems with knowledge of end‑to‑end Retail/FMCG processes and their impact across the value chain Awareness of product management systems, product lifecycle management and associated downstream systems that supply data to these Highly experienced in Business Analysis methodologies and tools related to business requirements, user stories, process mapping, process catalogue, data mapping, test cases, traceability and non‑functional requirements Experience having tough conversations with stakeholders to negotiate and deliver difficult updates Previous line‑management responsibility with the ability to motivate and mentor others Ability to work independently, lead teams and raise risks to meet business deadlines Excellent communication and analytical skills Ability to run multiple priorities and projects simultaneously Fast learner who can grasp multiple business areas, organisational structures and working methodologies quickly Awareness of the latest tools in Business Analysis with a drive to experiment and learn Passion for problem‑solving and delivering process improvements through projects People‑oriented with strong interpersonal and communication skills, comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders Ability to work under pressure on multiple initiatives within the required timeframes Good understanding of retail concepts and information technology, with particular emphasis on technologies used to support retail functions Enjoys working flexibly in a dynamic team of functional and technical people who continually learn from each other while working smoothly towards a common goal Why join us?
