This is a senior role within a global pitch function, offering real autonomy, visibility and the opportunity to lead some of the firm’s most strategically important bids.Working closely with stakeholders across the UK, EMEA and internationally, you will take ownership of end-to-end pitch activity, shaping strategy, driving best practice and delivering high-quality submissions to tight deadlines. This role would suit an experienced pitch professional who can operate confidently at pace and “hit the ground running”.RoleLead global, multi-practice and multi-jurisdictional pitches and RFP responsesOwn pitch strategy from Go/No-Go decision through to submission, presentation and debriefDraft and edit substantial sections of complex proposals, ensuring clarity, quality and consistencyCoordinate input from senior stakeholders across practices, sectors and geographiesDevelop and embed best practice approaches to pitching and proposal managementSupport business development, client retention and growth initiativesPrepare pitch presentations and coach senior stakeholders as requiredLine manage and develop members of the bids teamManage multiple concurrent projects to demanding deadlinesCandidate RequirementsMinimum of 5 years’ experience in bids, pitches or proposals, ideally within legal or professional servicesProven track record leading complex, high-value, multi-jurisdictional bidsStrong bid management and project management skillsExceptional writing, editing and presentation abilities with meticulous attention to detailConfident stakeholder management skills, including experience working with senior leadersPrevious line management experience within a bids or proposals teamAbility to adapt quickly, remain flexible and perform under pressureThis is a high-impact role offering global exposure, ownership of flagship projects and the opportunity to play a key role in future growth.
