A well‑established and growing accountancy practice in London is seeking an Audit Senior to join its expanding Audit & Assurance team. This role offers excellent career progression, a supportive environment, and the opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of clients across multiple sectors.


The Role

As an Audit Senior, you will play a key role in leading audit assignments from planning through to completion. You will work closely with managers and partners, supervising junior team members and ensuring high-quality delivery across all engagements.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead audit assignments from planning to completion for a varied portfolio of clients
  • Prepare audit planning documentation and identify key risk areas
  • Supervise and mentor junior team members, providing on‑the‑job training
  • Review the work of the audit team, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Build strong client relationships and act as a key point of contact during assignments
  • Prepare statutory accounts and liaise with clients to resolve queries
  • Ensure compliance with professional standards and regulatory requirements


About You

  • Part‑qualified or fully qualified ACCA / ACA (or equivalent)
  • Recent experience working within UK practice, ideally in an audit-focused role
  • Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP and audit standards
  • Confident leading audits and supervising staff
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage client relationships
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage deadlines
