Tradewind Recruitment are proud to be supporting a welcoming Secondary School in Middleton who are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to join their team from Monday 5th January 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting young people and making a real difference in the classroom.

The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to provide high-quality support across a range of subjects, helping pupils to engage positively with their learning. You will assist with classroom activities, provide targeted intervention where needed, and contribute to a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Please note:Only applicants who have previously worked in schools or educational settings will be considered for this role. Experience supporting learners in Key Stage 3 or Key Stage 4 is highly desirable.

• Have proven experience working in a school or education-based role.

• Be confident supporting pupils with varying abilities and needs.

• Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Be proactive, reliable, and committed to promoting positive outcomes for students.

• Hold (or be willing to undergo) an enhanced DBS check on the Update Service.

• Competitive daily pay rates: £90-£100 per day.
