Tradewind Recruitment are proud to be supporting a welcoming Secondary School in Middleton who are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to join their team from Monday 5th January 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting young people and making a real difference in the classroom.

The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to provide high-quality support across a range of subjects, helping pupils to engage positively with their learning. You will assist with classroom activities, provide targeted intervention where needed, and contribute to a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Please note: Only applicants who have previously worked in schools or educational settings will be considered for this role. Experience supporting learners in Key Stage 3 or Key Stage 4 is highly desirable.

The ideal candidate will:

Have proven experience working in a school or education-based role.

Be confident supporting pupils with varying abilities and needs.

Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Be proactive, reliable, and committed to promoting positive outcomes for students.

Hold (or be willing to undergo) an enhanced DBS check on the Update Service.
