Teach Now is excited to be recruiting a committed SEN Teaching Assistant for a warm, community-focused primary school in Ealing. This inclusive, forward-thinking school is seeking a skilled practitioner who can make a genuine impact on the learning and wellbeing of children with additional needs across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.

The school is known locally for its nurturing ethos, strong pastoral care, and diverse student community. Staff work closely together to ensure every child—regardless of background or ability—has the tools, support, and encouragement to thrive. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced TA with a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification, or someone looking to develop their SEN expertise further in a supportive environment.

About the Role

In this varied and rewarding position, you will:

• Provide tailored support to pupils with a range of SEN needs

• Use proactive strategies to manage challenging behaviour with confidence and positivity

• Help pupils develop social skills, emotional regulation, and independence

• Assist with classroom routines, group work, and individual interventions

• Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs and external professionals

What We’re Looking For

• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (essential)

• Practical experience supporting SEN pupils in KS1 and/or KS2

• A calm, patient and resilient practitioner who can build trust quickly

• Strong behaviour management skills and a consistent, nurturing approach

• A team player who is adaptable, reliable and committed to inclusive practice
