About the Role:
This is a rewarding opportunity to work with students across Key Stages 3 to 5 who may present challenging behaviour or face social and emotional barriers to learning. As a Behaviour and Inclusion Support (BIS) specialist, you’ll help students re-engage with education through patience, empathy, and evidence-based strategies—creating a space where every child can thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide 1:1 and group support to students with behavioural and emotional needs
• Implement behaviour management strategies and promote positive choices
• Support classroom teachers in creating inclusive learning environments
• Foster strong, trusting relationships with students, families, and staff
• Help track and monitor student progress, contributing to support plans
Requirements
About You:
• Experience working with young people facing behavioural or emotional challenges
• Calm, consistent, and proactive approach to behaviour support
• A genuine belief in inclusive education and every child’s potential
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• BIS or SEN training/qualifications desirable but not essential
