Are you an SEN Teaching Assistant who is genuinely excited about making a difference? This is a rare opportunity to join a small, co-educational independent senior school in the leafy surroundings of Barnet, where every student is truly known, valued, and supported.
With a close-knit community of no more than 350 students aged 11–18, this school offers a calm, purposeful environment that allows staff to go beyond the basics of support. The ethos is centred on authenticity, confidence, and individuality—creating the conditions where young people feel empowered to be themselves and seize every opportunity available to them.

• One-to-one and small-group support to help students access the curriculum
• Assisting with lesson engagement, organisation, and emotional regulation
• Supporting students to build independence, confidence, and self-belief
• Working collaboratively with teachers and the SEN team to implement strategies
• Going above and beyond to ensure each student feels understood and supported
Who We’re Looking For
• An academically confident individual with experience supporting SEN
• Strong understanding of Autism and ADHD, with a calm and empathetic approach
• Someone proactive, reflective, and willing to exceed expectations
• A team player who is passionate about inclusive education and student wellbeing
Why This Role Stands Out
• Work in a beautiful setting with outstanding facilities and grounds
• Term-time hours supporting excellent work–life balance
• Competitive daily rate with full-time consistency
• Be part of a school that truly values staff development and professional growth
