Teaching Personnel is seeking a compassionate, resilient and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support one of our specialist Alternative Provision partner schools in the CV11 area. This nurturing setting supports young people who have faced challenges in mainstream education and provides a highly personalised, therapeutic and relationship‑focused learning environment. The school’s ethos centres on care, respect, individual attention and a curriculum shaped around each learner’s needs, including vocational, therapeutic and outdoor learning pathways.
About the Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils with Autism (ASD), Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH) and ADHD to access learning, regulate emotions and rebuild confidence. You will work 1:1, in small groups and within the classroom, using a relational and trauma‑informed approach consistent with high‑quality Alternative Provision practice.
You will also contribute to a curriculum that is creative, flexible and tailored to each learner—often incorporating outdoor learning, therapeutic activities and personalised academic pathways.
Key Responsibilities
Provide individualised support to pupils with ASD, SEMH and ADHD.
