Veritas Education are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to work in secondary schools across Rossendale. We have a range of day-to-day, short-term, and long-term supply roles available to suit your availability and experience.

The Role

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting students with special educational needs, which may include:

Autism (ASD)
ADHD
SEMH
Moderate to Severe Learning DifficultiesSupport may be delivered 1:1 or in small groups, helping pupils to access the curriculum, develop social skills, and achieve their full potential within a secondary school setting.

Requirements

Experience working with young people, particularly those with SEN
A patient, resilient, and nurturing approach
The ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
Flexibility and adaptability to different school environments
An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
