We are currently recruiting for experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to join one of our client's specialist schools in Stoke-on-Trent. This role offers the opportunity to work within a supportive and innovative setting where you will make a positive impact on the lives of young people with complex needs, including those related to autism, Asperger's Syndrome, and other conditions.
The Role: As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in helping pupils reach their full potential in both their learning and general wellbeing. You will be part of a team committed to creating a safe and stimulating environment, tailored to the individual needs of each child.
Your duties will include: - Supporting children with their learning across a broad and balanced curriculum - Providing assistance with care needs where necessary - Managing positive behaviour, with a focus on individualised approaches - Developing supportive relationships with pupils to promote safety, independence, and personal growth - Working alongside the class teacher to ensure high-quality, differentiated educational activities - Being flexible and adapting to the varied needs of the pupils
