SEN Teaching Assistant – Primary & Secondary
Together in learning is recruiting for caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to support children and young people across a range of primary and secondary school settings in Nuneaton and Bedworth. In this role, you’ll be working closely with pupils who have a variety of additional needs, including ASD, MLD, PMLD, and SEMH. Your support will play a key role in helping students feel safe, supported, confident, and ready to engage in learning, both academically and emotionally.
About the Role
* Providing 1:1 support or working with small groups of pupils
* Assisting with learning activities, behaviour support, and emotional regulation
* Supporting pupils with social and communication skills
* Working collaboratively with class teachers and SEN teams to meet individual need.
* Helping to create a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment
Requirements
* Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEN (school based experience preferred)
* A patient, positive, and reliable approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* A genuine passion for supporting children and young people with additional needs
