Job Title: SEND Teacher

Location: Morpeth
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: £120 - £150 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a specialist SEMH provision in Morpeth, supporting children and young people who have experienced trauma. The setting promotes a nurturing and structured environment, focused on building trust, emotional resilience, and positive outcomes for all students.

The school is looking to take on a SEND Teacher on a long-term, full-time basis. The successful SEND Teacher will be working closely with students displaying challenging behaviour, delivering tailored lessons and supporting their social, emotional, and academic development within a therapeutic setting.

The successful SEND Teacher will have:
• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
• Experience working with SEMH, trauma, or challenging behaviour
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
• A calm, patient and resilient approach
• A ‘can-do’ attitude and willingness to adapt
