About the Role:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant , you will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide tailored assistance to students with a range of learning difficulties and complex needs. Your role will involve working on a one-to-one basis and in small groups to help pupils access the curriculum and reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
Support students with special educational needs in their learning and development
Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
Implement individual learning plans and behaviour management strategies
Provide emotional and pastoral support to students
Foster a nurturing and positive learning environment
Requirements:
Experience working with children with SEN is desirable but not essential
A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting learners
