KS2 SEMH Teacher Needed!

Reed Education are working with an SEMH school in the Stockport area to recruit a passionate, resilient and creative KS2 SEN Teacher who is ready to make a life-changing impact.

What You’ll Be Doing

You will play a key role in shaping learning and emotional development by:

• Planning and delivering engaging, tailored lessons for KS2 pupils with diverse SEND and SEMH needs
• Using assessment data to guide progress and refine your teaching
• Creating a trauma-informed, therapeutic classroom environment
• Maintaining high expectations for behaviour, learning and relationships
• Working closely with specialist staff and teaching assistants
• Supporting every child’s social, emotional and academic growth

What We’re Looking For

You’ll shine in this role if you have:

• Proven experience teaching pupils with complex needs and challenging behaviour
• Strong understanding of curriculum, assessment and behaviour management
• QTS or QTLS
• A passion for supporting young people through difficult periods in their lives
• Resilience, empathy, adaptability and a reflective approach
• A strong commitment to safeguarding and professional conduct
