Section Engineer - Plymouth £350 - £425 per day plus £50 lodge| Long-Term Infrastructure Project | High-Security Site We are looking for an experienced Section Engineer to join a major redevelopment project at a secure Royal Navy site in Plymouth . This is a long-term opportunity on a technically complex programme involving large-scale civil engineering works. As a Section Engineer, you will lead site-based engineering operations, supporting the project team in ensuring high standards of technical delivery, quality, and compliance with all relevant specifications. Due to the nature of the site, candidates must meet BPSS security clearance requirements. Please note that only those who hold a passport from the UK, EU, NATO, 5 Eyes, or MISWG countries , and have been resident in the UK for the past 5 years , can be considered. Security clearance can take up to 8 weeks to complete. Key Responsibilities: Lead the preparation and collation of as-built documentation and drawings.
Implement and maintain systems to record completed works, aligned with the Project Quality Plan.
Coordinate and oversee quality testing and inspections for materials and workmanship (e.g., drainage, concrete, piling).
