My client is a fast-growing automotive brand backed by a major global vehicle manufacturing group. With a strong emphasis on technology, innovation, and international expansion, my client has established a rapidly growing global sales and service network and is now continuing to strengthen its presence across the UK market.

The Sales Performance Manager is responsible for driving sales performance and delivering commercial targets across north region. This is a field based role focused on dealer network performance, sales execution, and brand representation. The position plays a critical role in aligning regional sales activity with wider business objectives, while building strong, long-term relationships with dealer partners.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Performance & Target Delivery

  • Achieve and exceed sales targets within the assigned region through effective planning and execution of sales strategies
  • Translate national sales objectives into actionable regional plans

Dealer Network Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with dealer groups and individual dealerships
  • Support, motivate, and challenge dealer partners to improve sales results
  • Deliver training, guidance, and resources to enhance dealer capability and performance

Sales Strategy Execution

  • Implement sales initiatives and promotional campaigns in line with overall business strategy
  • Monitor performance data and market conditions, adjusting actions where required

Market & Performance Analysis

  • Conduct regular market analysis to identify opportunities, risks, and competitive activity
  • Provide insights, feedback, and recommendations to the Regional Operations Manager

Brand Representation & Customer Experience

  • Act as the regional ambassador for the brand, ensuring consistent and positive brand representation
  • Monitor customer satisfaction and feedback, working with dealers to resolve issues and improve the customer journey

Reporting & Communication

  • Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, dealer activity, and market trends
  • Maintain clear communication with internal stakeholders and senior management

Candidate Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Marketing, Commercial Management, Economics, Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in automotive sales and dealer network management
  • Strong existing relationships and resources within dealer groups and retail networks
  • Proven management experience, ideally including projects such as site selection, facility development, franchise standards implementation, or dealership upgrades
  • Excellent communication, coordination, planning, and execution skills
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building capability
  • Resilient, self-driven, and comfortable working under pressure in a performance-led environment
  • Willingness to travel regularly across the region
