Business Need / Purpose of Role: To manage and coordinate the OE Control & Nuclear Projects team, ensuring that they have the training and tools to generate quotations and give technical advice to our customers. To ensure that the Control & Nuclear Projects team is customer-focused, effective and pro-active in its approach to servicing our customers.
Objectives & Measurement - Including but not limited to: Key Responsibilities and Specific Accountabilities: Objectives: Supervise and prepare technical proposals and quotations in-line with company procedures and industry best practice Effectively manage contact with customers, external sales and agents to gather market intelligence so as to priortise quotations and target competition Identify, qualify, prepare and deliver detailed techno-commercial proposals for OEM projects to the global nuclear market Meet and exceed specific Key Performance Indicators set by the Head of Commercial Operations e.g., achieving or exceeding the required bid date and increasing order intake / hit rates Review incoming enquiries and allocate to the OE sales team. During review ensure that the best manufacturing & sourcing strategy is chosen.
