The Sales Director will manage key raised access floors accounts across the UK Southern region, handling pipeline management, forecasting and support. They will provide end users, architects, engineers, contractors and other project stakeholders with comprehensive sales and technical support to secure sales orders. Key Objectives in Your Role as Sales Director Include
Work alongside the General Manager Contracts to determine the overall strategy for maximising contribution and volume against sales targets. Manage the pipeline of key projects. Lead a team of Sales Managers to ensure scope, specification and project compliance on all project returns. Ensure daily objectives are met for the Sales Managers team. Provide sales forecasting in line with overall targets. Identify, establish and convert key Main Contractor partners for the region. Present and communicate Tate sales presentations to architects, developers, contractors and other project stakeholders as required. Maintain the sales database, ensuring project status, order and install dates are accurate and up to date. Provide general intelligence on the raised access flooring marketplace, including pricing levels and competitor information. Prepare monthly sales reports. Evaluate construction specifications and provide product recommendations to meet project requirements. Collaborate with the Estimating and Contracts teams, providing support where necessary. Attend pre‑tender, mid‑bid and pre‑order meetings.

Adhere to the Company's compliance obligations, policies, processes and procedures. Report compliance concerns, issues and failures. Participate in training as required.
What Do You Need?
Degree level education (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline such as construction, building engineering, architecture, etc. Previous professional experience in sales management within the construction industry. A proven track record in developing and closing large commercial construction projects. Proficiency with MS Office and CRM software. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt the approach when necessary to communicate with stakeholders at all levels. Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to set objectives and prioritise workloads. A commercial understanding of project risks. Good understanding of specifications in relation to bids.
