CornerStone is an award-winning independent Security and Digital Buildings Consultancy working with enterprise‑level clients in public and private sectors across multiple regions. We are seeking a skilled individual to join our commercial team as a Sales Associate.


This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious graduate or early‑career professional to join our commercial team and start a long‑term career in business development within the built environment and digital technology sector. This is an entry‑level role with a clear progression path—you’ll work closely with senior account leads, learn how enterprise consulting sales really works, and gradually build and own your own client relationships.


The Role

As a Sales Associate, you’ll support senior account leads while developing your own commercial capability.


You’ll be involved in:

  • Supporting key client accounts alongside a Sales Director
  • Helping manage pipelines, opportunities, and account plans
  • Assisting with proposals, bids, presentations, and client communications
  • Researching markets, clients, and upcoming opportunities
  • Attending client meetings, site visits, and industry events
  • Building relationships with new and existing clients
  • Over time, you’ll take on your own accounts, with the goal of progressing into a fully autonomous Business Development Manager role


Who We’re Looking For

  • A graduate or entry‑level candidate (any degree discipline considered)
  • Strong interest in the built environment, security, or digital technology
  • Confident communicator with a professional, client‑focused mindset
  • Curious, organised, and motivated to learn
  • Comfortable working with senior stakeholders and enterprise clients
  • Keen to build a career in B2B consulting and sales development


Desirable

  • Experience in the built environment, digital technology, security sectors or consultancy
  • Understanding of public and private procurement processes
  • Sales management experience
  • Experience of HubSpot or other CRM
