We are seeking a motivated and patient‑focused ARRSSalaried GP to join our Primary Care Network (PCN). This is an excellent opportunity to work across member practices within a supportive multidisciplinary team delivering high‑quality, safe, and effective primary care services.The postholder will support the delivery of PCN service specifications, enhanced access provision, and proactive population health management initiatives.Main duties of the jobWe are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Salaried GP to join our Primary Care Network (PCN), working collaboratively across our member practices to deliver high‑quality, patient‑centred care.The postholder will play a key role in supporting the delivery of enhanced services and PCN‑led projects, with a particular focus on improving outcomes for patients with long‑term conditions and reducing health inequalities.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide high‑quality GP consultations (face‑to‑face, telephone and online) across the PCN/practicesManage a varied clinical caseload, including acute presentations and long‑term conditionsSupport delivery of PCN priorities, including quality improvement initiatives and enhanced services (e.g. hypertension management, prevention programmes)Work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team, including pharmacists, social prescribers, and health and wellbeing coachesContribute to QOF, PCN DES and local incentive schemesParticipate in clinical meetings, MDT discussions, and service developmentMaintain accurate and contemporaneous clinical records in line with GMC standardsResponding to medical problems presented by patients on the practice medical list, including history taking, examination, investigation, diagnosis, treatment and referral where appropriateEstablishing appropriate systems to manage common chronic medical conditions, e.g. asthma and diabetesProviding appropriate preventative health care and advice within the context of primary health careClinically related administrative and non‑clinical duties needed for the delivery of general medical services, including QOF, LTC, LCS and other enhanced services workMaintain patients clinical records in accordance with the standards set by the PracticeEngaging in appropriate educational activity to maintain clinical and managerial competence and performanceWork collaboratively with all practice and PCN based staff to achieve the highest level of patient careContribute to quality improvement and clinical governanceAt all times whilst on duty you must be contactableThe Salaried GP will be expected to attend clinical meetingsThe Salaried GP will be expected to assist with the reasonable supervision of the GP Registrars within our Training PracticeYou will be responsible for all paperwork/links etc generated from seeing your patientsYou will respond to requests for home visits and do them when appropriateYou will be required to assist the practice with paperwork/links etc when other doctors are on annual leave or are sickBe expected to complete other clinical and administrative duties such as filing clinical documents, laboratory results and managing routine prescription requests or queriesAbout usPCN1W is a collaboration of four local GP practices serving approximately 40,000 patients.
