- Previous experience working within retail butchery or fresh meat preparation
- Experience preparing pork, beef, lamb and poultry for retail sale
- Knowledge of sausage and bacon production methods
- Experience working within a food retail, farm shop or butcher counter environment
- Knowledge of food hygiene and safe meat handling procedures
