We have an exciting opportunity for a knowledgeable and motivated Retail Branch Manager to lead the team at our busy branch in Brixton.
Our Brixton Decorator Centre is located near to the town centre and is well established in the local community. We sell a vast selection of designer and quality paints for all purposes, wallcoverings, decorating tools and equipment. With a mixed retail and trade customer base we offer industry expertise as well as a great range of quality products. Branch opening hours are Monday to Friday 7.00am - 5pm and Saturday 8am - 5pm.
Managing a team of 3 you will play a vital part in helping us serve customers and keeping the branch running smoothly.

To succeed in the role of Retail Branch Manager you will:
Be able to demonstrate management or supervisory experience in a similar or relevant role
Have experience of developing a team
Have a proven track record of achieving sales targets and generating new business
Be enthusiastic and proactive about selling and be able to inspire staff to achieve high levels of customer service
Understand our focus on customer service and other Brewers values
Have the ability to positively represent the Company to a wide range of customers
Be able to work on your own initiative
Knowledge of the local area would be beneficial
Who We Are Looking For To Join Our Team
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and drive excellence
Exceptional customer service and communication skills, to understand and translate customer requirements into product recommendations
Previous experience in the Decorative Industry would be an advantage not essential, as full will training will be given to the right candidate
Approachable, possessing an open and friendly personality - happy to help both customers and colleagues
Enjoys working and supporting a team, but can be relied upon to work as an individual at all times
A proven track record of achieving sales targets and generating new business
Keen to learn, develop skills, and progress within our industry
Willing to attend training to become a Fire
